The Land Registration Act 2002
Following the introduction of the Land Registration Act 2002 on 13th October 2003, we have reviewed Con 29 (Long) and Con 29 (Short) in the light of this new Act.
In particular, we have inserted a new enquiry concerning any application to the Land Registry for an exempt information document whilst simultaneously amending and updating terminology and old statutory references.
Con 54 has been amended to take account of changes in terminology introduced by the Land Registration Act 2002 and Stamp Duty Land Tax which became payable on 1st December 2003.
CURRENT FORMS MAY CONTINUE TO BE USED BUT THE AMENDED VERSIONS WILL BE IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE IN JANUARY.
