Civil Procedure Forms
The Ministry of Justice has amended EX160 and notes to clarify what constitutes “income” for the purposes of concessions 2 and 3 and what supporting evidence is required for these two concessions.
The current version of EX160 can be used where an applicant is eligible for a full remission of court fees under concession one, but the new edition should be used on or after 3rd March where an applicant is relying upon concession 2 or 3 on EX160.
The Ministry of Justice has also amended N149 and N150 following changes which the Civil Procedure Rule Committee has proposed to both of these forms.
The amendments are designed to reinforce the availability of alternative dispute resolution as an alternative to litigation.
A REVISED EDITION OF EX160 AND NOTES WILL BE PUBLISHED LATER THIS MONTH. CURRENT VERSIONS OF N149 AND N150 SHOULD NOT BE USED AFTER 1ST APRIL. AMENDED FORMS WILL BE AVAILABLE BY THE END OF MARCH.
