Law Society Transaction Forms
The Law Society has reviewed its existing TransAction forms, Prop 1, Prop 3, Prop 4, Prop 6, Prop 7 and Prop 8 in the light of the Home Information Pack (No.2) Regulations 2007 which came into force on 1st August for certain types of property.
EXCEPT WHERE TA1-TA15 HAVE ALREADY BEEN COMPLETED ON BEHALF OF A CLIENT, SOLICITORS AND LICENSED CONVEYANCERS MUST NOT INCLUDE TA1-TA15 IN A HOME INFORMATION PACK OTHER THAN THE LAW SOCIETY’S BRANDED HOME INFORMATION PACK.
TA1, TA2, TA3, TA4, TA5, TA14 and TA15 are forms which are required to be included in a home information pack.
TA6, TA7, TA8, TA9, TA10, TA11, TA12 and TA13 are forms which can be included in a home information pack but which are not compulsory.
TA1-TA15 refer to guidance notes which can be used to help practitioners complete these new forms. These notes can be downloaded from the Law Society’s website at www.lawsociety.org.uk.
WE WILL PUBLISH THE EXISTING PROP FORMS 1, 3, 4, 6, 7 AND 8 UNTIL 31ST OCTOBER. THE NEW FORMS TA1 – TA15 WILL BE AVAILABLE LATER IN AUGUST.
